New Chicks!

My show chicks arrived today. Unfortunately 3 are dead and 5 more are sick. I got a stronger light in their box and the sick ones are starting to look a tad bit more lively. The healthy ones are doing fine and are chirping loudly. So excited to see these tiny bantam chicks grow into beautiful show chickens! Now I can’t wait for the fair!!

We went sledding with the Blicks,Sarah, Cara, and Stephanie. It was sooooo fun! Here’s some pictures(thanks for letting me steal these, Alex), it was a little hilarious! What a fun end to a boring school day.

Last couple of days, we have been butchering pigs with the Blicks. In return, we get one of the hogs. We had a lot of fun working together. Great way to spend black Friday. 😛
