What’s the season about? Most of us can quote the history passage about the pilgrims that has been drilled into our heads since forever, but Thanksgiving is soooo much more! All throughout Psalms we can find commands to have thanksgiving in our daily lives. God is worthy of all the praise and honor, let us give it to Him!

Psalms 107:1

O Give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalms 108:1

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

Psalms 111:1

Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Psalms 112:1

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is  the man that feareth the Lord, that  delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psalms 113:1

Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

King James Version. Italics were in the original Scripture passage.

So what are you thankful for?

I am thankful for lots, here’s a few:

Jesus Christ, Salvation, God’s Word, friends, food, music, family, my health, medicine, etc.  😀
